A LITTLE ABOUT US

Nanikoki Kennels started back in 2017 with our first love British Bulldogs. For the next 7 years we bred and exhibited our beloved British Bulldogs throughout Queensland. With the help of amazing mentors who have had decades of experience in the breed, we strived to breed for the betterment of the breed, and promote health testing to improve the stigma that comes along with the brachycephalic breeds.

However with a heavy heart I had to make the decision to no longer breed or exhibit British Bulldogs due to ongoing back issues. They just became too much to handle with their beautiful big robust stature, and their stubbornness. Although I will always be active in the preservation of the beautiful breed.​

Then onto the next chapter of our journey in the dog world ..... French Bulldogs.

My daughter was in love with Frenchies and had been wishing to purchase a Frenchie for sometime. I approached a dear friend in Gladstone Mechelle McFadzen (Alangrove French Bulldogs), and asked her if possible would she allow us to purchase a French Bulldog sometime in the future. After some time Mechelle had a very special litter using imported semen from a special boy owned by No1 French Bulldog Breeders in the UK Dean and Abbie Cund. And we were offered our first French Bulldog Henri.

Well what a ride this little man has taken us on. 

We are very proud to exhibit this boy and promote the Breed Standard of French Bulldogs. And his wins to date speak for themself.
